About Registration
Placement
Girls registered in Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council will receive priority placement through March 15, 2008. Beginning March 17, campers will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of council affiliation.
Camp Buddies
Making new friends at camp is fun and exciting, but some girls enjoy attending with a “buddy.” Two, and only two, campers may be placed as “buddies” if they both register at the same time for the same session and are in the same program level (Brownie, Junior, Cadette, or Senior). Both registrations must be mailed in the same envelope or girls will not be placed as buddies. If a girl registered in Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council sends in her registration with an out-of-council Girl Scout, they are placed according to the priorities listed in the “Placement” section.
If there is a change of buddies after girls are placed, GSSJC cannot guarantee that campers will be placed together.
Physicals
A physical taken after August 1, 2007, is required for all campers. The form to be filled out by a physician is included in the confirmation packet. Certain sessions which are more physically demanding may require a more in-depth physical. Details will be sent in confirmation packets.
