Ever want to relive your Girl Scouting experience around the campfire? On April 24, 2009 at the George R. Brown Convention Center we are giving you the chance to Celebrate Volunteerism Around the Campfire! Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council wants all troop leaders, volunteers, staff and Girl Scout supporters to be a part of Urban Campout as we honor longtime Girl Scout friends Nancy and Bud Simpson.
Put on your favorite camp attire for this adult-only event and come party the night away under the stars and around the campfire. There will be plenty of interactive games, food, fun and entertainment for everyone. Plus, you will have a chance to bid on fantastic silent and live auction items.
And while you are roasting s’mores and sharing camp lore, you feel good knowing all proceeds benefit community based programs. So mark your calendars, practice your best camp songs and make plans to join us around the campfire at Urban Campout!
